Are You Still Not Clear About Your Career?

The real question is not whether you are clear about your career or not. Rather the question is that whether you are serious about your career or not.

Why I’m asking this question?

Because, most of us like to be a huge dictionary in-stead of a small book and what does it mean in real?

A dictionary is such a book where you can find almost all the words in the world, but you can’t find a single sentence. And most of us are like a dictionary. We know everything and we want to know about everything in this world. The only thing we don’t know is the area of our mastery.

We know the answer to the question “Who am I?”, but whether we know the answer to the question “What am I?” It exactly means the same thing, i.e. the area of our mastery.

A good career can be built around 3 things, i.e.

1. Your Interest.

2. Your Expertise &

3. Your Passion.

That’s why I told in the beginning of this article that it’s so much important whether you are serious about your career. If you are quite serious about your career, then you can find your way by choosing your niche. Here is another emerging question, what is Niche?

Let me explain.

You can say it the area of your Core Strength.

e.g. If you are a person who belongs to health and wellness industry and your core strength is managing weight in a gentle way. Here health is the major niche, but if you tell the community that you are a health expert and you can help people maintaining a good health, people may recognize you but will not relate you as health is a bigger area or a major niche.

But if you tell people that you are a health expert and you can help them managing their weight, then they might relate you in a better way as you have specified the area. That is called the Sub-niche.

Now if you tell people that you are a health expert and you can help them managing their wight without vigorous exercise with the help of Power Yoga and Diet management, then people will relate you and will be interested to be connected with you. Here the way or the method is called the micro-niche.

So if you want to attract the clients as an entrepreneur or attract the attention of an employer as an employee, first you have to find your Niche, Sub-niche & the Micro-niche.

As your career lies inside your niche and your niche lies in between your interest, expertise and your passion, first you have to find your niche.
